Poem: mansplaining international women's day in atlanta

International women's day

Probably doesn't matter much

When it's midnight

And 30 degrees

And she sits down in Centennial Olympic Park

Take your coat off

Walk around

Sit

And let the cold in

Take your feminism and your partnerships and your staying inside the cistem never speaking truth to power

Walk around

Sit

Let the cold in

Let the cold in like you never have before

Lay down beside the warm body that you call love

Snuggle up with blankets and central heating

Kiss your children goodnight and then open your God damn window

Sit

Let the cold in
